message-strip-subject-trailing-was: Refactor

* lisp/gnus/message.el (message-strip-subject-trailing-was): Refactor
the function replacing sequence of `if' calls with a mixture of `or'
and `and' calls instead.  This makes it shorter and containing less
internal state thus easier to follow.
